Caliente Pizza collects 200 pounds of canned goods during fourth annual food drive

PITTSBURGH (January 2, 2021) — Thanks to the help of its customers, Caliente Pizza & Draft House collected 200 pounds of canned goods during its fourth annual food drive to feed families in need over the recent holiday season.

The food drive officially ran from Nov. 1, 2020 through Dec. 25, 2020. Customers were encouraged to drop off items at any Caliente location or given to delivery drivers. All donations were delivered to the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank in efforts to make families who are facing hunger happier and healthier.

“We are so grateful to have customer who share our passion to help, especially during the holiday season,” said Nick Bogacz, founder and owner of Caliente Pizza & Draft House. “Food insecurity has skyrocketed in our area over the past year. We hope this effort made a difference for local families in need.”
